Periodontics Faculty Position

Department of Dental Diagnostic and Surgical Sciences

Applications are invited for a full-time tenured or tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position in the Division of Periodontics at the Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences. The appointment will commence on September 15, 2019 or as soon thereafter as possible.

The appointee must have completed full-time university-based Periodontics specialty training with a Master’s degree in Periodontics.  Teaching experience in Periodontics and Research and Grant application experience is preferred and a proven record of scholarly activity and publication is required.  Successful completion of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC) examination in Periodontics at the time of hire is preferred. Extramural practice privilege is available 1 day per week upon signing of a Practice Agreement.  Candidates must be eligible for licensure with the Manitoba Dental Association in one of its dental specialist licensing categories (Bylaw for Registration and Licensure of Dentists.)
