Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery - Faculty Position
College of Dentistry

The College of Dentistry invites applications from qualified individuals for a part time (0.30 FTE) Limited Term (5 years) out of scope faculty position in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.  The successful candidate will be required to deliver didactic, pre-clinical and clinical teaching in the College’s Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program.

We seek candidates who have completed graduate specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with  experience in working in an educational setting.  Candidates must possess effective written, verbal and interpersonal skills and have the capacity to embrace the latest evidence-based developments in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery technologies. Preference will be given to candidates who have passed the National Dental Specialty Examination (NDSE) in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery administered by the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and can be licensed by the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CDSS).

The salary bands are: Assistant Professor $93,293 - $112,109; Associate Professor $112,109 – $130,925; Full Professor $130,925 - $152,877. Independent of rank, a starting salary above the standard salary bands is possible in rare and exceptional circumstances pursuant to Article 18.2.6.12 of the 2014-2017 USFA Collective Agreement (see: http://www.usaskfaculty.ca/?attachment_id=3298).
