The College of Dentistry invites applications from qualified individuals for a full time Without Term (WOT) Instructor position in the Dental Assisting program. This position is in scope of the University of Saskatchewan Faculty Association (USFA). The College is seeking a graduate from an accredited Dental Assisting program who has an active dental assisting license. Preference will be given to individuals who have educational training and/or experience instructing in an academic setting, as well as those with additional dental assisting module training.

We are seeking candidates who are subject matter experts in the area of Dental Assisting and are adept at working in a multi-disciplinary clinical setting with shifting priorities. The work can be complex in nature and work volume will fluctuate with peak periods that will require additional effort. Sound judgment, independent decision-making, discretion and sensitivity will be required as these positions are privy to and work with sensitive and confidential information. Solid computer skills, proficiency with the use of Microsoft Office and Dental Software are required. Familiarity with web based instructional technology is an asset.
The salary range for Instructors is $63,931 – $102,775. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package which includes a dental, health and extended vision care plan; pension plan, life insurance (compulsory and voluntary), academic long term disability, sick leave, travel insurance, death benefits, an employee assistance program, a professional expense allowance and a flexible health and wellness spending program.
