Dr. George A. Zarb was presented with the Robert N. Eskow New York University (NYU) Implant Dentistry award during the NYU Implant Symposium in December 2009.
Dr. Zarb is the current editor of The International Journal of Prosthodontics and former head of prosthodontics at the University of Toronto faculty of dentistry. He was named as a member of the Order of Canada in 2008.
In 2004, CDA presented Dr. Zarb with its Honorary Membership award, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the art and science of dentistry over a sustained period of time.
Named in honour of its principal benefactor, NYU clinical professor of implant dentistry Dr. Robert Eskow, the Eskow Award recognizes individuals in implant dentistry for outstanding achievements and significant contributions to the science and clinical application of implant dentistry.
