The University of Toronto’s faculty of dentistry continuing dental education (CDE) department is sponsoring a 1-day symposium on October 15 that will focus on treatment considerations for the elderly. The event will place an emphasis on presenting practical clinical procedures that can be implemented in the dental office.
The symposium, Geriatric Dentistry: What Will Your Dental Practice Look Like in Ten Years?, will feature 8 national experts from the field of geriatric dentistry. The speakers include Dr. Peter Cooney, Canada’s Chief Dental Officer, along with Drs. Peter Brymer, Laura Tam and Aaron Fenton from the U of T faculty of dentistry.
