McGill Associate Dean Receives ACFD Distinguished Service Award

Dr. Marie Dagenais, associate dean of academic affairs at the McGill faculty of dentistry, received the Association of Canadian Faculties of Dentistry (ACFD) Distinguished Service Award at the association’s biennial conference held at Dalhousie University on June 16–17, 2013.

Over the years, Dr. Dagenais has been involved in several projects related to McGill’s dentistry curriculum. She is also a past president of ACFD and the Canadian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, and chair of the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada (CDAC) Documentation Committee.

The ACFD Distinguished Service Award recognizes those who have made outstanding contributions to dental education in Canada.
