Remembering Douglas Patrick

Douglas Patrick, partner, vice-president and chief financial officer at the Aurum Group of Companies, passed away on May 6, 2013, at the age of 65.

Mr. Patrick, a Calgary resident, leaves behind a tremendous legacy. Over the course of his 35-year career in the dental industry, he served as president of the Dental Laboratory Conference and occupied directorships with the American Dental Trade Association (ADTA), the Dental Industry Association of Canada (DIAC) and CDA’s Dentistry Canada Fund (DCF).

Mr. Patrick received DCF’s Outstanding Service Award – Industry Professional in 2003.

He is survived by his wife, Ethelle, and his two sons, Brad and Trevor.
